You need another single Database for all of your calendar events with a column to assign a course. You need a single Database for your courses. You shouldn't have nested Databases, just 2 and lots of views. There is a available to to-do entries as well as reminders but there is no (obvious) way to feed that information to a main calendar, something that I would have much appreciated in this particular case instead of nesting databases. You can only link the 'main' database, and can't go deeper. Databases are not aware of each other, I can repeat the step above for a second course and I would end up with two separate calendars/databases, when I assign a date to one entry in course#1 it would not show up in course#2. Pay attention to the filters, sorts, and properties I use for each view, but you'll see that every one of them goes back to the main Academic Year database. What I do is make a single database for one Academic Year (so that I don’t overcrowd my Category tag with all of my courses for my full degree plan). So I have a similar thing for my school tracking that may help you or at least give you some ideas. Say, I want to make an 'inbox' page that houses random reminders/tasks and would like them to appear in that global calendar as well. I want to have it that when I assign a date to a chapter in `Udemy>Enrolled>Course1>Week2>Chapter20` it actually appears in a calendar that also has different entries from all over that particular workspace. Plus, they can't seem to figure out how to make a good mobile app. I use it for personal projects, nothing fancy, and I like how it's more than a simple task manager as it lets me add notes inside projects, something none of the competitor task manager apps do but then I dread how outdated it looks and how broken it seems at times, especially when I try to add multiple tasks at once. I'm new to Notion (like less than 24h new) and I'm thinking about moving to it and eliminate the need of a few apps at once.
